so the day i started t i felt energized as fuck and decided to lift weights for the first time in like 6mos on a whim

and i’ve been doing it every night since.

i feel so fuckin good y’all. i am fully divorced from cardio, that shit hurts and makes me hate my body. weights tho? some gentle yoga mixed in? 15mins a night before bed? i’ve been doing it every night for three weeks and i have MUSCLES! yes! 🙏

like shit i love touching my biceps, i love feeling my thick asf thighs get thicker with my gains, i love this feeling. i am fat and i am strong and it feels so GOOD!!!

that being said my joints are really trying to convince me they can’t take it but i’m being slow and gentle and focusing on form. i’m really trying to give my body it’s best chance to grow at its own pace.

Are the joint pains an EDS related thing? It's interesting to me how different HRT regiments affect different folks with EDS. T seems to make symptoms better for some folks, and E worse. But, there is so much variation.

@lib they’re 100000% EDS. my joints are alllllways wiggly and mad at me for exercising if i accidentally stretch too much before or after, and then other times my joints just randomly flare up. i haven’t noticed it being bad since i’ve been on t though, i’ve noticed more muscle soreness than joint pain, tbh. i’ll keep an eye out to see if the T is helping!!
